Dear Grizzly Families,

I am honored to introduce myself as your new principal after serving the past two years as
assistant principal here at Glenwood Elementary. During that time, I have had the privilege of
building relationships with many of you and your students, and I am excited to continue our
journey together in this new role.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping every child grow in confidence as a learner.
I believe that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and capable, and I am dedicated to
ensuring that each student feels safe to take risks and discover their strengths.
As a school community, we will foster a culture of kindness and empathy, with zero tolerance for
bullying. Every child deserves a school where they feel safe and included, and I will work with
our staff, students, and families to uphold these values daily.

This year, we will advance the implementation of AVID schoolwide, a program designed to help
students develop the organizational, critical thinking, and leadership skills they need to be
successful now and in the future. I am excited for our students to benefit from AVID’s strategies,
which will support them in setting goals, advocating for themselves, and preparing for college
and career pathways.

Building strong connections with our families and the community will remain a priority for me.
I deeply value your partnership and welcome your input on what you would like to see at our
school. Please know that my door is always open, and I am here to listen, collaborate, and
support your student’s success.

Together, we will continue to make our school a place where all Grizzlies can thrive, grow, and
